Krannert professors to livestream panel on economic implications of pandemic
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. —Three economists in Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management will host a Facebook Live event at 8 p.m. May 4 on the economic implications of COVID-19.
Panelists for the event are:
• Tim Bond, associate professor of economics. Bond will speak about labor and unemployment. Bond received his doctorate in economics at Boston University. His areas of expertise are labor economics, organizational economics and economics of education.
• Jillian Carr, assistant professor of economics. Carr will speak about crime implications related to the virus. Carr earned her doctorate in economics at Texas A&M University. Her areas of expertise include economics of crime, public policy and labor economics.
• Tim Moore, associate professor of economics. Moore will speak on COVID-19-related health economics. Moore has his doctorate in economics from the University of Maryland. His areas of expertise are public finance and health economics.
Each panelist will give a brief presentation and take questions from online audience members.
