Purdue expert available to speak about tariffs, oil prices

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – As the U.S. trade war with China again heats up, Wally Tyner, Purdue University’s James and Lois Ackerman Professor of agricultural economics, can talk about implications.

Tyner recently published a study with colleague Farzad Taheripour about the economic impact of Chinese tariffs on imported U.S. soybeans. Tyner’s research focuses on issues of agricultural policy, energy economics and resource policy analysis.

A frequent national media source, he also can also talk about unstable oil prices.
