Purdue’s Mitch Daniels to participate in Aspen Institute final report livestream

What: Purdue University President Mitch Daniels will participate in a panel during a livestream event when the Aspen Institute National Commission on Social, Emotional and Academic Development releases its final report, “From a Nation at Risk to a Nation at Hope.”

Date and time: Daniels’ panel will begin at 9:50 a.m. on Tuesday (Jan. 15), and he will discuss policy recommendations and bipartisan support. Register here to watch the livestream.

Additional information: The commission’s report is based on input from more than 200 scientists, youth and parent groups, educators, and policymakers. The release event will profile communities that are committed to educating the whole learner, examine the politics and policy of this approach to education, feature conversations between students and the adults who’ve made a difference in their lives, and celebrate the many organizations that have committed to advancing the commission’s final recommendations.
