Purdue President Mitch Daniels to make special announcements in honor of Tyler Trent

What: Purdue University President Mitch Daniels will announce a permanent campus memorial in honor of Tyler Trent, the Purdue graduate and superfan who died Jan. 1 after a courageous battle with cancer. Daniels also will announce the inaugural recipient of the Tyler Trent Courage and Resilience Award, a scholarship in Trent’s honor.

When: 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 27. 

Where: Gate E, which is the student gate of Ross-Ade Stadium at the stadium’s northeast corner. The rain location will be the lobby of the Football Performance Complex.
