WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Young the Giant will bring its 2019 Mirror Master Tour in support of the new full-length album to Purdue for a performance at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 21 at Elliott Hall of Music.

The new album “Mirror Master” includes recently released tracks “Simplify” and “Call Me Back,” along with the single “Superposition,” which recently hit No. 30 on Spotify’s U.S. Viral Chart.

The concert is presented by Purdue Convocations and Purdue Student Concert Committee with support from the Student Fee Advisory Board.

General public tickets will cost $30-$35, while student tickets will cost $25-$35. VIP tickets, which will include premium seat location, an autographed poster and an intimate two-song performance, among other perks, will cost $139.

Tickets will go on sale to Purdue and Ivy Tech Lafayette students, along with Purdue faculty, staff and retirees at 10 a.m. Oct. 24 (Wednesday). A limited number of tickets for current Friends of Convocations members will go on sale at the same time.

The general public can purchase tickets beginning at 10 a.m. Oct. 26 (Friday).

Tickets can be purchased through the Purdue Stewart Center box office, by calling 800-914-SHOW or any Ticketmaster outlet.

Since the band's 2010 inception, Young the Giant has made a name for itself in rock as the “thinking man's band,” winning over fans, radio and press with its incendiary live shows, strong musicianship and poignant lyrics. Following 2016’s critically-acclaimed “Home of the Strange,” the latest album, Mirror Master,” promises to continue ascending into consciousness, though this time with a heavy focus on personal self-awareness and growth.
