Leading-edge technologies, world-class research to be highlighted at Indiana Technology Showcase

ODON, Ind. – Innovators from Indiana’s top research institutions will come together to present and exhibit their technologies Sept. 25 during the Indiana Technology Showcase.

This first-ever showcase will feature 30 researchers from 1 to 4 p.m. from the University of Notre Dame; Purdue University; Indiana University; University of Southern Indiana; Ivy Tech; and Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, at the WestGate Academy, 13598 East WestGate Dr., Odon, Indiana.

Each innovator will have three minutes to present their technologies during the fast-paced event. The researchers will then be available at booths to talk about the innovations and licensing opportunities.

The showcase will bring together Indiana’s talent from academia, industry and government for technologies in the areas of medical, agriculture, materials and other fields.

The venue for the showcase is the WestGate Academy, which is a prime example of the unique culture of working together in Indiana. Under one roof, WestGate has Purdue, Indiana University and the University of Southern Indiana represented, with close working relationships with NSWC Crane, the Battery Innovation Center and industry partners.

Sponsors for the Indiana Technology Showcase include the Indiana Innovation Institute and the Indiana Office of Defense Development.
