‘The Wizard of Oz’ comes to Purdue University on April 28

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Broadway musical “The Wizard of Oz” comes to Elliott Hall of Music on April 28 at 7 p.m. This performance is presented by Purdue Convocations with support from Regions and the Purdue University Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer Center.     

There truly is no place like home, as the greatest family musical of all time — the wonderful “Wizard of Oz” — twists its way onto the Elliott Hall of Music stage with breathtaking special effects, dazzling choreography, and classic songs. Sing along to the favorites you know from the indelible 1939 film like “If I Only Had a Brain,” “We’re Off to See the Wizard,” and “Over the Rainbow."

Tickets for the general public range in cost from $26-$58. Student tickets range in cost from $26-$41.

Initiated in 1902, Purdue Convocations was one of the first professional performing arts presenters in the United States.
