Governor reappoints Purdue trustees
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb on Monday (June 25) reappointed three members to Purdue’s Board of Trustees.
Current trustees JoAnn Brouillette, Michael Berghoff and Vanessa Castagna were reappointed to serve three-year terms, effective Sunday (July 1).
Brouillette, of Lafayette, Indiana, has served as a trustee since July 2006. She holds a 1983 bachelor’s degree in business administration from Hanover College.
Berghoff, of Indianapolis, was appointed to the board in July 2009 and has served as the board’s chair since July 2015. A 1985 graduate of Purdue with a bachelor's degree in industrial management, Berghoff was the board’s vice chair from 2013-2015.
Castagna, of Dallas, is one of three alumni trustees, having been appointed by the Purdue Alumni Association in February 2013 and subsequently reelected in 2015 and 2018. She received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and speech communication from Purdue in 1971.
