Appointments, honors and activities

Faculty and staff honors:

- Stacy Holden, an associate professor of history, has been awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to conduct research in Morocco during the spring semester of 2019. Using sources in French and Arabic, Holden is writing a book that examines Edith Wharton’s travelogue in Morocco.

Student honors:

- The Military Family Research Institute (MFRI) at Purdue University is proud to announce the selection of the women participating in the 2018 Focus Forward Fellowship program July 25-28 at the West Lafayette campus. MFRI received 250 applicants for this year’s fellowship. Twenty women were accepted to participate from 18 different colleges and universities, representing all five branches of service, and countless areas of academic study.
