Purdue Musical Organizations to Host Men’s Choral Festival

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue Musical Organizations will host the fourth annual Men’s Choral Festival on Feb.  7.

The concert, which is free and open to the public, will feature the Purdue Varsity Glee Club, along with performances by visiting high school choirs. It will begin at 6:30 p.m. in Elliott Hall of Music, 712 Third St., West Lafayette.

The all-day event for high schools from around the Midwest will begin at 8 a.m. Nearly 500 high school students will visit campus and partake in vocal workshops conducted by PMO directors Bill Griffel, Jeff Vallier and Scott Hines. The festival will conclude with a free performance by the Purdue Varsity Glee Club, and performances by several of the participating high school choirs and the combined choirs, totaling over 550 voices.
