Software company SUBU moves into Purdue Research Park

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – SUBU, a software development company, recently moved its headquarters into the Purdue Research Park of West Lafayette.

SUBU creates interfaces that assist with technical challenges, such as service scheduling, leveraging machine learning algorithms for optical character recognition, mobile payments digitizing mail delivery, managing accounts receivables and implementing rapidly scalable architectures.

“Some of our clients are enterprise-size businesses and government entities who have invested too much in their existing architecture to quickly retool but want to take advantage of new technology, tools and methodologies,” said Pavan Inabathini, president and founder of SUBU. “Other clients are service-based businesses that want to leverage the ease of use and speed of the on-demand economy or small and micro-businesses who cannot afford high upfront investments in technology.”

SUBU is also known for its mobile and web app development, data analytics, network infrastructure, business process automation, CIO support and leveraging rapid development platforms such as Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services.

“SUBU is known for low upfront costs, emphasis on a clear return on investment, fast, frequent delivery by building software incrementally from project startup and a sustained focus on information security,” Inabathini said.

Inabathini added that SUBU moved into Purdue Research Park because of the opportunities the park offers.

“Purdue Research Park is a good fit because we do not believe innovation or creativity is confined or defined by geography,” Inabathini said. “But with regard to talent, we think density creates synergy. We want to be where the talent is.”
