Purdue Musical Organizations to host Men’s Choral Festival

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue Musical Organizations will host the third annual Men’s Choral Festival on Feb. 9.

The concert, which is free and open to the public, will feature the Purdue Varsity Glee Club, along with performances by visiting high school choirs. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. in Elliott Hall of Music.

The daylong event for high schools from around the Midwest will begin at 8 a.m. with more than 400 high school students scheduled to visit campus and participate in vocal workshops conducted by PMO directors Bill Griffel and Jeff Vallier.

The festival will conclude with free performances by the Purdue Varsity Glee Club, several of the participating high school choirs, and the combined choirs, which will total more than 450 voices.
