Women in Chemical Engineering seminar deadline approaches

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — The deadline to register for this year's Women in Chemical Engineering seminar is approaching.

The event is 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. April 2 at Forney Hall of Chemical Engineering.

Registration is required, with Saturday (March 5) the deadline to RSVP. Space for the seminar is limited. Lunch is provided.

Registration should be emailed to Sandy Hendryx at hendryxs@purdue.edu.

This year's event features an opening lecture, "Trailblazers to Infinity," followed by a College of Engineering alumni panel discussion on "Chemical Engineering: A Spectrum of Careers" and "Subtle Bias: Real or Myth."

Networking and building tours are also on the agenda for the event, which is sponsored by Shell.
