Purdue's 2015 highlights captured on video

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The major happenings at Purdue University during 2015 are highlighted in the Purdue Alumni Association's 61st edition of the Year in Review video, formerly the Newsreel.

Titled "Ever Moving Forward," the 13-minute program, produced by the Office of Marketing and Media, can be viewed on the Purdue YouTube channel at https://youtu.be/rgyMHLsKvgk, or is available from the Purdue Undergraduate Library.

The video is sponsored by the Purdue Alumni Association and is shown to Purdue alumni clubs around the world.

The 2015 Year in Review was produced and directed by Ray Cubberley, senior broadcast producer in marketing and media, and is narrated by Tim Newton, director of external relations for Purdue's Krannert School of Management.

Highlights in the 2015 Year in Review include the partnership between Purdue and Amazon; an update on Purdue Moves; announcement of the Purdue Polytechnic High School in Indianapolis; launch of the Ever True capital campaign; a record year for fundraising; Day of Giving; the 25th anniversary of Purdue Science Outreach; VOSS interactive exhibit dedication; Handimate robotic toolkit; Mallott Innovation Awards; excelling in commercialization and patents; Active Learning Center construction; Grand Prix; Rube Goldberg Machine Contest; Ag Fish Fry; Black Cultural Center's Jahari Dancers; Boiler Gold Rush; Purdue Alumni Association events; commencement; pinning ceremony for education grads; in-person surprise news for two admitted students; Homecoming; Purdue Bands; Glee Club; men's and women's basketball highlights; softball stadium dedication; volleyball, diving, cross country and track highlights; and remarks from alumni interim President and CEO Jim Karl.
