Author Jarrett Kobek joins Literary Reading Series March 10

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Author Jarett Kobek will be a Literary Reading Series featured reader at 6 p.m. March 10 in Krannert Auditorium, Room 140, at Purdue University. Kobek also will conduct a Q&A session at 4:30 p.m. the same day in Grissom Hall, Room 103.

Both events, sponsored by the Department of English, Modern Fiction Studies and the Creative Writing Program, are free and open to the public.

Kobek is a Turkish-American writer living in California. His novella "ATTA" was called "highly interesting," by the Times Literary Supplement and has appeared in Spanish translation. It has been the subject of much academic writing, and was a recent bestseller in parts of Canada. He is working on a book for Bloomsbury's "33 1/3" series about rapper Ol' Dirty Bastard's "Return to the 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version."
