Fidelity offers lineup of workshops on Roth contributions, Roth in-plan conversions

Fidelity, Purdue’s official provider of education, guidance and assistance related to retirement plan investments and decisions, offers free, virtual Healthy Boiler workshops at a variety of times throughout each month, and the array of workshops offered support the financial wellness pillar of the Healthy Boiler Program. The following workshops are available at the end of January. 

Ask Fidelity: What is an In-Plan Roth Conversion? 

Purdue retirement plans offer many ways to save for the future. During these workshops, attendees can learn more about their options, including how to convert after-tax dollars to a Roth using an in-plan conversion. These workshops are available as follows: 

  • Jan. 22, noon to 12:30 p.m. ET
  • Jan. 24, noon to 12:30 p.m. ET

Understanding Roth Contributions in Your Workplace Savings Plan

In this workshop, attendees learn about the Roth contribution option, which may be available in their workplace savings plan. (Fidelity does not provide legal or tax advice. The information herein is general in nature and should not be considered legal or tax advice. Individuals should consult an attorney or tax professional regarding their specific situation.) These workshops are available as follows:

  • Jan. 23, noon to 12:30 p.m. ET
  • Jan. 25, noon to 12:30 p.m. ET
