September 28, 2015

As part of the effort to make Purdue faculty aware of the network of teaching expertise and resources available to them on campus, 15 members of the Purdue University Teaching Academy will share insights on more than 16 teaching topics during a full day of 20-minute sessions on Tuesday (Sept. 29).

Starting at 9 a.m. and running through 3:50 p.m. in Stewart Center, Room 218 AB, concurrent sessions will run on topics such as:

* Adding captions to teaching videos.
* Engaging industry into classroom mentoring.
* Writing assignments in large-enrollment classes.

A full list of topics, presenters, and times is available on the Teaching Academy website at www.purdue.edu/cie/teachingacademy/TeachingAcademyDay1.html.

All faculty members, teaching assistants and other members of the Purdue community interested in innovations in university teaching are invited to attend this free event. Participants may pick any session or stay for the day.
