Purdue football takes on Bowling Green on Saturday

Purdue's Hammer Down Cancer football game is slated for Saturday (Sept. 26) when the Boilermakers take on the Bowling Green Falcons. Fans are asked to wear cancer fight-supporting shirts to help those battling the disease and honor those who have survived. The Purdue football team also plans to display its support for cancer research by wearing pink shoelaces and wristbands during the game.
SATURDAY
Boilermaker Crossing: Purdue fans can meet the teams, play on inflatable games, get prizes, listen to live music and more at the family-friendly Boilermaker Crossing at 9-11:30 a.m. Saturday at Sally and Bob Weist Plaza between Mackey Arena and the Intercollegiate Athletic Facility's Holloway Gymnasium side. The event is free.
211° Session: The 211° Session pre-game pep rally will feature the Purdue "All-American" Marching Band, football head coach Darrell Hazell and the Boilermaker football players. The event starts at 9:49 a.m. in Mackey Arena.
Pregame concert: Purdue jazz bands will perform at 10-11 a.m. at Slayter Center.
Purdue vs. Bowling Green (Hammer Down Cancer game): The game starts at noon at Ross-Ade Stadium. Ticket information is available here.
Post-game concert: The Purdue "All-American" Marching Band will march shortly after the game to Slayter Center and perform there.
