Parking Facilities reminders: Extended parking, permit renewal, Grant Street garage

May 18, 2015

Parking Facilities is issuing reminders about extended parking in campus lots and garages, renewal of parking permits and Grant Street Parking Garage as a 24/7 pay garage for non-permit use.

Extended parking: Vehicles may not be stored in any parking lot or garage for longer than 24 hours without permission from the Parking Facilities Office. Any vehicles in violation may be towed at the owner's expense.

Parking permit renewal: At the beginning of July, regular faculty and staff will receive an email notice that parking permits may be renewed online. At that time, staff and faculty may log on to the Parking Facilities website to renew. No renewal forms will be mailed. Permits will be issued for one-year only this renewal period. Questions should be directed to Parking Facilities at 49-49497 or parking@purdue.edu.

Grant Street Parking Garage:  Non-permit use of the Grant Street Parking Garage switched to 24/7 pay on March 2. Use of "A" permits in the garage continued as it is. For pay parking in the garage, the rate is by the hour up to a maximum of $10 for a 24-hour pay period, applicable seven days a week.
