Daniels talks higher ed reform at ASU+GSV Summit

President Mitch Daniels on Wednesday (April 8) took part in the 2015 ASU+GSV Summit, a global conference dedicated to learning innovation and technology.
Daniels; Michael Crow, president of Arizona State University; and Jamie Merisotis, president and CEO of Lumina Foundation, discussed changes and challenges in higher education in an interview session with Katherine Bradley, co-founder and president of CityBridge Foundation.
In addition, Brent Drake, Purdue's chief data officer, presented findings from the Gallup-Purdue Index national survey and Purdue alumni results during a session on Tuesday (April 7). In conjunction with the conference, the Gallup-Purdue Index released findings on Wednesday showing that six factors of support and experiential learning correlate with graduating on time and future success.
The summit, held April 6-8 in Scottsdale, Arizona, is co-sponsored by Arizona State University and Global Silicon Valley Advisors. The summit brings together entrepreneurs, policymakers, business leaders, investors, philanthropists and educators to discuss accelerating learning innovation around the world.
