CSSAC elects chair, vice chair

The Clerical and Service Staff Advisory Committee on May 12 elected Pat Carducci chair and Tiffany Eakin vice chair for 2015-16.
Carducci, who works in Building Services, will be chair of the Executive Subcommittee and also serve on the Healthcare Advisory, University Leaves and University Policies committees. He also will chair CSSAC meetings. He will take office in September.
As vice chair, Eakin, a secretary in the College of Agriculture, will be chair of the Bridge Committee and a member of the Membership subcommittee as well as chair CSSAC meetings when the chair is not available. Eakin, who also takes office in September, will succeed the chair the following year.
Also during CSSAC's May 12 meeting, members Laura Corcoran, Tom Gilbert and Lisa Sultemeier were elected emeritus members for next year. Emeritus members are nonvoting and provide knowledge to newer members, assist with continuing or ongoing projects, and assist CSSAC in representation on University committees.
CSSAC members are eligible for an emeritus position upon completion of their regular CSSAC membership. Emeritus members serve a one-year term starting in September.
