Author Coben speaks as part of Presidential Lecture Series

Author Harlan Coben spoke on Thursday (April 16) as part of the Purdue University Spring 2015 Presidential Lecture Series, an ongoing series of diverse lectures on policy, leadership, culture and society. Coben and President Mitch Daniels discussed "The Rules of Writing and When to Break Them."
During the talk in Stewart Center’s Fowler Hall, Coben and Daniels discussed writing tips, inspiration, how-to's and the insecurities that plague all writers.
“The Stranger,” Coben’s latest book, recently hit No. 1 on USA Today’s Best-Selling Books list. His last six previously released novels debuted at No. 1 on the New York Times Best Seller List, and he has more than 50 million books in print in 42 languages.
The Presidential Lecture Series is organized by the Office of the President with assistance from Purdue Convocations. The series features prominent experts and practitioners from various fields of interest for both academics and the community at large.
