Information events being hosted by CLA's Study Abroad & International Programs Office

Study and internships around the world will be the focus of two events and a set of drop-in sessions for all Purdue students Jan. 12-16, presented by the Study Abroad & International Programs Office of the College of Liberal Arts.
Academic course credit is available for either study abroad programs or internship opportunities. Programs are operating in numerous countries from Singapore to Colombia to France. The week's events:
CLA-SAIP International Week. 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. daily Jan. 12-16 in Beering Hall's lobby. Representatives from CLA's departmental study abroad programs will offer information and insight as well as a warm cup of coffee. Different programs will be represented each day to showcase the range of CLA offerings, both in locations and in length, from spring break to Maymester to semester. All students are welcome.
CLA Study Abroad Symposium. 5:30 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 14) in Beering Hall, Room 1268. Presentations about departmental study abroad programs of varying lengths will explain how to plan a study abroad experience. Students of all colleges are welcome, and refreshments will be provided.
CLA Global Internships Symposium. 5:30 p.m. Thursday (Jan. 15) in Beering Hall, Room 1268. Presentations will describe the global internships programs in Singapore, Peru, Colombia, Brazil and South Korea. These programs offer the chance to earn course credit and internship experience over the summer. Students of all colleges are welcome, and refreshments will be provided.
