Purdue Bowlermakers to organize on Wednesday

August 25, 2014

The Purdue Bowlermakers women's bowling league will have an organizational meeting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday (Aug. 27) in Stewart Center, Room 204.

The membership of the Purdue Bowlermakers is open to any female staff and faculty (current or retired) or student. Female relatives and spouses of Purdue staff, faculty or students also are eligible. Teams have three bowlers per session and can have alternates.

Bowling takes place at 6 p.m. on Wednesdays starting Sept. 3 in Union Rack and Roll at Purdue Memorial Union, and the season consists of 30 weeks. That excludes the Wednesdays near Thanksgiving (Nov. 26), Christmas (Dec. 24) and New Year's Day (Dec. 31). The last night of bowling will be April 15 or April 22, depending on whether a makeup day is needed.

Membership (sanction) cost is $18, and weekly dues are $8.25 per player (three bowlers each week).
