A Purdue summertime tradition will bring four Wednesday evenings of satisfying food, free live music, and pleasant surroundings at Purdue Memorial Union, starting this Wednesday (July 9).

This year's Summer Concert Series, organized in conjunction with the Purdue Student Union Board, will take place on the Union's front lawn unless rain forces an event inside. Food sales will begin at 5 p.m. on July 9, 16, 23 and 30, and popular performers from this area and beyond will follow. Tables and chairs will be set up, but guests are welcome to bring chairs and/or blankets.

Soft drinks and water in bottles will be sold for $1.50. A combo of one grill item, two sides and one bottle of a soft drink or water will be $7.50. Pappy's ice cream will be sold separately.
