PMU to host Family Fun Day this Sunday
May 2, 2014
Purdue Memorial Union will host its first Family Fun Day from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday (May 4) on the Union's front lawn.
Event coordinators hope this event will further the Union’s mission "to enrich the quality of life on campus and to build community amongst the diverse members of the University family -- students, faculty, staff, alumni and guests -- by inviting them to participate in formal programs and informal opportunities to gather, study, work, develop and have fun."
The event will feature food, inflatables and crafts. Information tables about camps and summer activities at Purdue and in the community will provide information about summer opportunities for children.
The event is free and open to the public. Free parking will be available in the Grant Street Parking Garage directly across from the Union.
In the event of rain, Family Fun Day will be moved to the Union's South Ballroom.
For more information, contact Margie Jones, program director for the Union's programs and recreation department, at 49-48907 or mctucker@purdue.edu.
