Extension's The Education Store offering holiday gift options
December 9, 2013
Purdue Extension's The Education Store is the place to find educational gifts for family and friends, including children, for the holidays. Faculty and staff who place an order before Dec. 17 have the option of delivery through campus mail.
The website features publications, DVDs and new phone apps for people of all ages and interests, and the most popular items are featured on a special page at www.extension.purdue.edu/holiday. They include an easy-to-use iPhone app of Extension's "Fifty Trees of the Midwest" publication, the "What's on MyPlate?" video that provides practical examples of how to follow the U.S. Department of Agriculture's nutritional guidelines, and the "Indiana Farm Record," a 100-page guide enabling farmers to keep accurate and effective farm records.
A 20 percent discount is offered on select items through Dec. 17.
Customers can have their items shipped to any address or, as an option for orders placed by Dec. 17, to have items shipped through campus mail. Orders may be placed online or by calling 49-46794.
Orders made by Dec. 20 will be shipped by UPS to assure home delivery by Christmas.
