Run/walk offers chance to help United Way

Housing and Food Services is hosting a run/walk on Aug. 22 to benefit the Purdue United Way Campaign.
The "5K for United Way" run/walk will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Lilly Nature Center in the Celery Bog Nature Area, 1620 Lindberg Road in West Lafayette. Check-in and registration begin at 5 p.m. The rain date is Aug. 29.
People of all ages and abilities are invited to participate.
Early registration, which includes a T-shirt and entry in a door prize drawing, can be completed by picking up a registration form at the main offices of Purdue residence halls. The completed form and registration fee may be sent via campus mail to Sandy Street, HFS-HR, Hillenbrand Hall. Checks should be made payable to "Purdue United Way." The deadline for early registration is Aug. 19.
All proceeds benefit the Purdue United Way Campaign.
