Open house to bid adieu to Davenport Sypher

An open house to honor Beverly Davenport Sypher, who is leaving Purdue this month as vice provost for faculty affairs, is planned for July 17, open to faculty, staff, students and retirees.
"Afternoon with Friends: Farewell Open House for Beverly Davenport Sypher" will run from 2 to 4 p.m. with brief remarks at 2:30 p.m. in Dauch Alumni Center, Prusiecki Room.

Davenport Sypher has accepted the position of senior vice president for academic affairs and provost at the University of Cincinnati, effective July 15. Her official date of departure from Purdue is July 12.
