PMO groups to perform tonight ahead of European tour

May 9, 2013

Three ensembles in Purdue Musical Organizations will present a free concert at 6 p.m. this evening (May 9) in preparation for their two-week tour in Europe, which people will be able to follow on Facebook or Twitter.

The Purdue Varsity Glee Club, Purduettes and Purdue Bells will perform music from the tour repertoire tonight at University Church, 320 North St. The concert, expected to run slightly less than one hour, is free and open to the public.

The May 14-28 tour will be the first overseas tour for the Purduettes and Purdue Bells. However, the glee club has a longstanding tradition of international travel, including South Africa and China, and this will be its 10th trip to Europe.
