College planning workshop available for employees

April 15, 2013

The Office of Admissions is hosting a workshop for faculty and staff who may be interested in pursuing an undergraduate degree or who may have children who will be attending college in the near future.

The workshop is designed to inform Purdue employees on how to prepare for college and of the resources available to them and their families. Representatives from the Office of Admissions, Division of Financial Aid, Ivy Tech-Lafayette, Span Plan Adult Student Services, College of Technology Statewide, and University Residences will participate in the workshop and will be available to answer questions.

The workshop will take place in Knoy Hall of Technology, Room B033, on two separate dates: 7-9 p.m. April 23 and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. April 24. To register, email Matt Chupp, assistant director of admissions, at mchupp@purdue.edu. Registrants should provide their name and the number of people attending as well as indicate which session they would like to attend.

Faculty and staff are welcome to come with their spouse or partner, but because of space restrictions, organizers are asking employees not to bring children. Purdue and Ivy Tech have many opportunities to host families on either campus. To schedule an appointment, visit www.admissions.purdue.edu or www.ivytech.edu/admissions.
