Recreation center users encouraged to use west parking lots
January 10, 2013
Administrators at the France A. Córdova Recreational Sports Center encourage Purdue employees who use the facility to take advantage of the more than 600 parking spaces located just northwest of the building.
The parking spaces are located where the former Lambert Field baseball facility stood. The lots are accessible from the east via Martin Jischke Drive and from the north via Stadium Avenue.
Immediately west of the recreational sports building is a small lot reserved for A parking permit holders. Just north of that lot are two larger lots available to A, B and C permit holders. Metered parking is available just west of Rankin Track and Field.
CityBus also provides service to the complex. On weekdays when classes are held during the fall and spring semesters, the 12 Gold Loop, 13 Silver Loop and 20 Avtech routes include stops near the recreational sports building. On all weekdays except University holidays, the 19 Inner Loop route includes a stop at Martin Jischke Drive and Third Street.
