Honors College names associate dean for academic affairs

Emily Allen, associate professor of English and director of the College of Liberal Arts Honors Program, has been appointed associate dean for academic affairs in the Honors College.
Allen earned her bachelor's degree in English from University of California, Los Angeles, and her master's and PhD in English from University of California, Santa Barbara.
Allen has taught honors courses for the past 10 years and has been a member of the Honors College Task Force, Honors Curriculum Committee, and the Honors Residential Task Force.
