Parking lot on Ahlers, bus loop 24 changing

Beginning Monday (Aug. 20), the parking lot at the corner of South Russell Drive and Ahlers Road will open to motorists with an A, B or C parking permit, and CityBus will begin its adjusted 24 Ahlers Drive route.
The lot at Russell and Ahlers, formerly a contractor's lot, will serve as a stop on the bus route, which will operate on weekdays as a campus loop route.
The 24 Ahlers Drive route is being altered to better serve the needs of the Purdue campus. The route will add, west of the Harrison Street roundabout, a segment that includes Nimitz Drive, Arnold Drive and the Discovery Park Lot. With the addition of the new segment, the route will still only take 20 minutes round trip. A map and timetable for the new route can be found at www.gocitybus.com/campusloop/24.html.
