Electric Vehicle parking permits to be available Nov. 1

Beginning Nov. 1, Parking Facilities will be offering Electric Vehicle (EV) parking permits to be used in conjunction with a valid University parking permit.
The supplemental EV permits will allow motorists to park and charge their electric vehicles at the charging stations available on campus. For a map of available EV parking locations, visit www.purdue.edu/pat/mainnav/parking/chargingstation.htm.
The cost of the EV permits will be pro-rated this year based on a $50 annual rate. The EV permits will be valid through Aug. 15, 2013.
In order to accommodate as many electric vehicles as possible, Parking Facilities asks that motorists park only in designated EV parking spots while they are actively charging their vehicle.
