The Excalibur Racing 42 team with driver Carson Bowers took the checkered flag in the 69th annual Purdue Grand Prix on Saturday (April 25). The team’s victory came after Bowers broke the Purdue Grand Prix Track record, setting a lap time of 24.616 seconds at qualifications.

Thirty-three drivers and teams competed in “The Greatest Spectacle in College Racing.” Rounding out the winners’ podium were Sam Griffin, driving for Motorsports Engineering Club in Indianapolis — CED Industrial Kart 4, and Ryan Fiorentino, driving for Tark Racing 29.

The Purdue Grand Prix Foundation’s third annual Halloween Hundred, a 100-lap race, is set for October. Next year’s Grand Prix is scheduled for April 24, 2027. To celebrate the race’s 70th anniversary, the event will feature alumni races and special dedications.
