Purdue Undergraduate Research Conference accepting research talk, poster abstract submissions
Undergraduate students are invited to submit their abstracts by March 2 to present a talk or poster on their research or creative endeavors during the 2026 Purdue Spring Undergraduate Research Conference.
The Spring Undergraduate Research Conference is a hybrid event showcasing undergraduate research with students delivering presentations from April 13-17. Undergraduate researchers and scholars from all disciplines are encouraged to participate in this formally judged event. Prizes will be awarded from each of the sponsoring academic units.
The in-person poster symposium will be April 14 with five potential sessions from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Purdue Memorial Union’s Ballrooms.
In-person research talks will be April 16 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Stewart Center, Room 214 and Room 218.
Throughout the April 13-17 event, the virtual conference will host recorded presentations on the conference website.
Faculty, staff and graduate students who are interested in judging the posters, research talks and/or virtual presentations can register on the conference’s judging information link. Training will be available prior to the event.
Celebrate Purdue’s Thinkers, Creators & Experiments, an interactive, in-person showcase of student projects, will be April 16 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. in Stewart Center, Room 214. Projects that involve a demonstration or interaction would be a great fit for this event.
The process of disseminating research results, gaining valuable feedback from peers and professors, and networking with other participants is a vital step in the learning process of engaging in a research experience.
The undergraduate research conferences are organized by the Office of Undergraduate Research with representatives from colleges and units on the undergraduate research planning committee.
