Purdue authors and West Lafayette Public Library launch ‘In Print at the Library’

The Purdue University Books Initiative and the West Lafayette Public Library are partnering to present “In Print at the Library,” a monthly book talk series starting Wednesday (Feb. 25) that celebrates the scholarship, creativity and storytelling of Purdue authors.

Each event of the series will take place monthly at the West Lafayette Public Library. This free, public event will feature conversations with Purdue authors about their recently published books, research journeys and bold ideas shaping their work. Each session will include an author talk followed by an audience Q&A offering attendees a unique opportunity to engage directly with the university community’s scholars.

The series highlights a wide range of topics, from science and engineering to history, education and humanities, reflecting the breadth of Purdue’s publishing activity and its commitment to sharing knowledge beyond campus.

Anne Lucietto, associate professor in engineering technology, will speak at the first event, titled “Innovating for Tomorrow: Engineering Technology Stories From Faculty, Students and Industry Professionals,” which will take place 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the West Lafayette Public Library, 208 W. Columbia St., West Lafayette, Indiana 47906.

Future dates, featured authors and pertinent details will be announced on the West Lafayette Public Library’s website. For more information, visit purdue.edu/provost/books.
