Registration, poster proposal submission now open for Purdue GIS Day

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue University Libraries and School of Information Studies invites all students, faculty, staff, industry professionals and beyond to register for and attend Purdue GIS Day 2026: Unlocking GeoAI Data and Tools on Thursday, Nov. 12, starting at 8 a.m. in Stewart Center, Room 214.

As part of the international GIS Day celebration, Purdue GIS Day brings together geospatial information users to showcase real-world applications of geospatial data, analysis and technology that are making a difference in our society.

Register by Oct. 25 to ensure your place in this year’s GIS conference, receive a free T-shirt and attend the career panel lunch.

Student poster competition: Undergraduate and graduate students from all disciplines are invited to submit GIS-related poster proposals by Oct. 15 for a chance to win cash prizes, including a digital humanities award.
