Campus voting information session set for upcoming elections

Purdue University and Tippecanoe County officials will participate in a town hall from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 11) in Stewart Center, Room G52, pointing students, faculty and staff to voting resources for the upcoming primary and general elections.

Steve Schultz, Purdue’s senior vice president and general counsel, and Julie Roush, Tippecanoe County clerk, will lead the informational meeting, which will be open to the general public. The session will be recorded for those unable to attend.

The primary election in Indiana is Tuesday, May 5, and the general election is Tuesday, Nov. 3.

Fred Duttlinger, Purdue’s director of civics literacy and election liaison, said streamlined information directing the campus community to Tippecanoe County and Indiana state voting and registration resources also will be found at the university’s Civics Literacy website.
