One Hour with HR sessions available for October, November

Human Resources is pleased to announce upcoming One Hour with HR topics for October and November.

October

October’s session is titled “Understanding and Managing Change — Supporting Staff Through Uncertainty.” Discover the essential phases of change and how to respond effectively as a team. Learn proven strategies for resolving conflicts and overcoming challenges in times of uncertainty. Leave with practical tips to confidently support staff and lead through transformation.

Participants can choose to attend either virtually or in person. Registration can be found here.

  • (In person) Tuesday, Oct. 21, Krannert Building, Room G020, 1:30 p.m.
  • (Virtual) Thursday, Oct. 23, 11 a.m.

November

For November, the session will be “Building Stronger Connections Within Teams.” Fostering robust connections within teams is essential for organizational success, particularly when navigating the complexities of hybrid and remote work environments. This session will address the distinct challenges associated with each setting and present strategies to enhance collaboration, trust and engagement among all team members.

Register for either class option:

  • (In person) Thursday, Nov. 20, 11 a.m., Rawls Hall, Room 2079
