Indiana legislators tour Purdue’s defense research programs

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Dan DeLaurentis, executive vice president for research, hosted a delegation of Indiana legislators for a daylong session about defense research in West Lafayette.

During the Sept. 25 visit, members of the Indiana General Assembly defense caucus and staff met with university leaders, research faculty and students to learn about Purdue’s research in hypersonic aviation, energetics cybersecurity, semiconductors and AI. They also toured key research facilities.
