Human Resources shares end-of-year, new year reminders, updates, Zepbound pricing program, more
As the end of 2025 approaches, Human Resources reminds employees of important deadlines, dates and information. HR also shares what to expect in 2026, including AmeriBen serving as the new administrator for Purdue’s medical plan and the launch of a specialized pricing program for individuals who use the GLP-1 Zepbound for weight loss.
Deadline to earn 2025 Healthy Boiler wellness incentives is Dec. 31
There’s still time for benefits-eligible employees across the Purdue system (including the Fort Wayne and Northwest campuses), as well as spouses covered on a Purdue health plan, to earn incentives this year. The deadline to complete and submit via the Healthy Boiler Portal the annual physical form, biometrics and other optional steps is Dec. 31.
Incentive funds earned in December 2025 will be posted to the employee’s Health Savings Account or Health Reimbursement Arrangement at the end of January 2026; funds will apply to the new tax year’s contribution limit set by the IRS.
In 2026, the wellness program returns with ways to earn even more incentives and a new name (Your Path Wellness Program), while retaining all other current aspects of the program. More information on Your Path will be shared in January, but a sneak peek is available here.

AmeriBen: New plan administrator for medical plan in 2026
Beginning Jan. 1, 2026, AmeriBen will become the plan administrator for the Purdue University medical plan, working in conjunction with Anthem Inc. This transition allows for increased flexibility for future plan design, networks and partnerships, while continuing access to Anthem network providers.
What employees should know

- Please share your new ID card with your health care providers at the start of the new year and let them know that Purdue’s insurance is with AmeriBen but still utilizes the Anthem network.
- The provider network has not changed; however, the ID number and the service phone number are new.
- Registration for the AmeriBen Engage app (available on Google Play or in the App Store) and the AmeriBen online member portal will open Jan. 1, 2026, and is not available until that time.
