Purdue University recognized more than 300 faculty members for their years of service during a celebratory luncheon Dec. 2. Faculty members were celebrated for service anniversaries ranging from 10 years to a remarkable 55. Avinash Kak, professor of electrical and computer engineering, and Gintaras Reklaitis, the Burton and Kathryn Gedge Distinguished Professor of Chemical

Engineering, were the longest-serving faculty to be honored; both reached their 55-year service anniversaries in 2025.
