This week’s ‘Thumbs Up’ recipients
Tracy Fleck
Purdue Manufacturing Extension Partnership recently received a request from a former student in need of their Six Sigma Yellow Belt certificate from around 2019. After much digging through our records and even asking a colleague to check older archived records from a past system, I was about to give up when another colleague recommended reaching out to Tracy (Purdue Online) just in case the student actually took the training through Purdue Online. Less than two hours later, Tracy emailed a copy of the certificate and completely saved the day! I’m not sure who was happier — me or the learner. Either way, we were all impressed with her prompt service! — Ashley Mote (Technical Assistance Program/Manufacturing Extension Partnership)
Liz Marcello, Karen Neubauer and Allison Russell
Big shoutout to Liz (Purdue Online), Karen and Allison (both Center for Instructional Excellence) for their help in making the Winter Session Community of Practice a success! From planning presentations to facilitating conversations and supporting winter instructors, your contributions made a significant difference. Thank you for creating such a collaborative space and sharing your expertise! — John Race (Office of Summer and Winter Sessions)
Lisa Lawson
Lisa (Office of Globalization) goes above and beyond to help the Purdue Polytechnic Advising group. She has been amazing this summer in assisting the entire advising staff at multiple locations with their campaigns, providing needed support. She is always willing to help out and provides a positive atmosphere. Thank you for your behind-the-scenes support! It is greatly appreciated! — Purdue Polytechnic Advising
Mandie Greiwe, Jordan Grammas and Betsy Kiel
