Purdue’s Lilly Day events provide an opportunity for students to get advice from Lilly employees and leadership, boost their professional skills, and learn more about Lilly careers. According to Tim Coleman, senior vice president and chief technology officer for Lilly, this collaboration gives students the tools they need to start building strong career pathways in STEM fields.
“Purdue University and Lilly have forged a dynamic partnership blending academic innovation with industry expertise,” Coleman said. “Events like Lilly Day at Purdue exemplify our strong collaboration, providing students with unique opportunities to engage directly with industry professionals, gain insights into cutting-edge research and explore potential career paths, thereby preparing them to become the next generation of leaders in science and technology.”
“It is always an honor to have our colleagues at Lilly join us on campus for Lilly Day,” said Eric Woods, executive director for the Office of Industry Partnerships at Purdue University. “The Lilly-Purdue relationship runs deep, and this continued opportunity for enhancing our students’ academic careers is a win-win for the university, state and the world.”
Lilly Day at Purdue is open to all students. The company especially welcomes those in career paths such as engineering, sciences, business, pharmaceutical manufacturing and supply chain management.
