The fall 2025 Road to Retirement three-day virtual conference — which provides employees with a variety of no-cost financial wellness and retirement planning resources to help plan and save for retirement regardless of where they may be on their career path — begins Wednesday (Sept. 24) and runs through Friday (Sept. 26).

Presenters from a variety of partnering organizations will offer topics ranging from budgeting and investing basics to retirement income planning, retiree health insurance options and how to mentally prepare for retirement, among many others.

All Purdue, Purdue Global, Purdue for Life and Purdue Research Foundation employees and their planning partners are encouraged to attend any presentations of interest. For added convenience, some virtual presentations will be offered live, with others prerecorded for viewing anytime.

The Road to Retirement conference has sessions designed for all career stages and supports the financial wellness pillar of the Healthy Boiler Wellness Program.

Just getting started with a career? Although retirement may be further down on the path, sessions are available to help individuals financially prepare for retirement while they are in their earlier working years, such as:

  • Get To Know Your Retirement Program — sessions specific to Purdue University, Purdue Global and Purdue Research Foundation
  • Understanding Roth Contributions in Your Workplace Savings Plan
  • Get Started and Save for the Future You (prerecorded Spanish session available)
  • HSAs: From Safety Net to Nest Egg
  • Fundamentals of Retirement Income Planning

Within a few years of retirement? There are many sessions for individuals at this stage of planning, too, including:

  • PURA Health Care Plans for Medicare-Eligible Retirees
  • Understanding Social Security Retirement Benefits for Purdue University
  • Under 65 Retiree Health Care Options
  • Purdue University — Target Date Investments
  • Staying Connected in Retirement

The full fall 2025 Road to Retirement conference schedule is available to view online here.
