Second industry research collaboration workshop planned

Following the kickoff workshop earlier this month about building successful research collaborations with corporate partners, the Office of Industry Partnerships announced the second workshop in the three-part series will be held Tuesday (April 29). This series is designed to help faculty identify the right corporate partners and explore growing effective partnerships.

This workshop, titled “How to Become a Rainmaker II: Building and Leading a Research Consortium,” is designed for researchers interested in developing and managing collaborative research initiatives across institutions and disciplines. Participants will gain practical insights into consortium formation, leadership strategies, governance structures and sustainable collaboration models. This session will offer valuable guidance for scaling research efforts and fostering impactful partnerships. It will also include panelists from Sponsored Program Services and the colleges of Agriculture, Engineering and Science.

All faculty and staff are welcome to attend.

This workshop will be from 2:30-4 p.m. in Purdue Memorial Union’s West Faculty Lounge. To attend, use this registration link. Dates of other workshops will be posted on the Office of Industry Partnerships’ events page.
