Virtual spring Road to Retirement conference continues today, ends Friday

The spring 2025 Road to Retirement virtual conference continues today (March 6) with sessions scheduled from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. The event wraps up Friday (March 7), with the last session scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.

Today’s sessions — offered by Fidelity Investments, Purdue Human Resources, TIAA, Indiana Public Retirement System and Purdue Fort Wayne’s health coach — offer a mix of both live and on-demand options, as well as topics for both early and late career employees. For example, the “Get to Know Your Retirement Program” session is a good starting point for newer employees and a nice refresher for employees who have been with the university longer. There are sessions specific to Purdue, Purdue Global and Purdue Research Foundation employees.

Tomorrow’s sessions — presented by Fidelity, Securian, Nyhart, Vanguard and Center for Healthy Living behavioral health counselors — also include both live and on-demand options and feature topics for employees from early to late career. Choose from a variety of sessions, including planning for retirement income, creating a budget and emergency savings, navigating market volatility, and adjusting to retirement, along with many other valuable topics.

The full conference schedule is available online here; all employees are encouraged to attend whichever sessions are of interest to them.

Registration is required for live presentations and can be completed a few moments prior to the session’s start time. Follow the links in the conference schedule to register.

This biannual conference supports the financial wellness pillar of the Healthy Boiler Wellness Program. For more information, contact Human Resources at 765-494-2222 or via email at hr@purdue.edu.
