New PERA module set to go live on March 10, others follow in 2025

Rollout of the Purdue Excellence in Research Administration (PERA), Purdue’s innovative electronic research administration system, is continuing. Following introduction of the grants, agreements, and Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee modules in October 2024, the PERA team is preparing to roll out four new modules in 2025, including the Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) module on March 10.

The rollout timeline for this year is:

  • Institutional Biosafety Committee module (March 10)
  • Export control module (Summer 2025)
  • Conflict of interest / conflict of commitment module (Fall 2025)
  • Institutional Review Board module (Fall 2025)
